Dossier 02 · For players

Four ways
to train.

Grounded in modern skill acquisition and motor-learning science, the training designs environments that help players read the game, make better decisions, and adapt to any system — from youth to the NBA.

01 · Virtual Academy

Train like a serious hooper, even when no coach is around.

The Virtual Academy is the online arm of the organisation — a set of programs built to work on their own or together as one complete system. Each is built around structure, progression and constraints so the work compounds, with on-demand education explaining why things work.

The business describes it as trusted by 10,000+ players in 150+ countries.

03 · ADAPT Academy

Club basketball done the right way.

In a youth basketball world focused on wins, rankings and exposure, ADAPT focuses on what lasts: real development, confidence, and love for the game. It is not traditional club basketball, and that is intentional.

Co-founded in 2024 by Coleman Ayers and Gabe Macias, ADAPT blends European club development principles — more practice, stable rosters, teaching players to read the game rather than memorise plays — with the competitive intensity of the American game.

  • More practices and development sessions
  • Stable rosters and long-term relationships
  • Teaching how to read the game, not memorise plays
  • Team basketball over selfish offence
  • Learning through live situations, not robotic drills
