Privacy
policy.
What is collected, why, and what you can do about it.
This page summarises the policy published at byanymeansbball.com/privacy-policy. The full and governing text is the version hosted on the business's own domain.
1. Information collected
Depending on how you interact with the business, the following may be collected:
- Contact details — name, email address and, optionally, phone number, submitted through the contact form.
- Registration details — for Summer Academy: parent or guardian full name, phone and email; athlete full name and date of birth; and waiver acceptance.
- Application details — for ADAPT Global: full name, email, phone, country, and which program you are interested in.
- Account and purchase data — for Virtual Academy and coaching platform members, including subscription status.
- Usage data — standard technical information collected when you browse, such as device, browser and pages viewed.
2. Children's information
Programs serve minors. Where a participant is a minor, registration is completed by a parent or guardian, who provides the athlete's details and consent. Parents and guardians can request access to, correction of, or deletion of a minor's information by emailing the business.
3. How information is used
- To process registrations, applications and purchases
- To deliver programs and manage access
- To communicate about programs, schedules and logistics
- To send updates, offers and marketing where you have consented
- To improve programs and services
4. Marketing consent and opting out
Marketing communications — recurring texts, calls and emails — are sent only where you have ticked the consent box on a form. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text or using the unsubscribe link in an email. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop transactional messages about a program you are enrolled in.
5. Sharing
Information is shared with service providers who help operate the business — payment processing, the training platform, email and SMS delivery, and hosting. The specific processors used are not published — to be confirmed. Information is not sold.
6. Media and content
Photography and video from in-person programs may be published on the organisation's Instagram and YouTube channels. If you do not wish to appear in published content, raise this in writing before the program begins.
7. Retention
Information is kept for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Specific retention periods are not published — to be confirmed.
8. Your rights
You may request access to the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights. Send requests to info@byanymeansbball.com.
9. International participants
Athletes travel from many countries to train in Miami, so personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. The transfer safeguards relied on are not published — to be confirmed.
10. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Cookies
The websites use cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
12. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated. Questions or requests: info@byanymeansbball.com.
